The Ministry of Energy of Georgia announced the Expression of Interest on the technical and economic feasibility study, construction, ownership and operation of the “Jonouli 2 HPP” on the river Jonouli in the Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti Region. The Expression of Interest was announced due to Letter of Interest from the company “GEEN GEORGIA”.
The installed capacity of the “Jonouli 2 HPP” is 32.0 MW and annual generation is 129.20 million KW/h. The estimated investment cost of the project is 50,000,000 US Dollars. The interested parties shall submit applications for project development in accordance to the terms and conditions of the Expression of Interest to the Ministry of Energy of Georgia (Sanapiro str. 2) no later than 18:00 on 10 December 2017.
